Pierre-Hubert Séguin is a partner in Langlois Lawyers’ business law group. He specializes in corporate finance, including acquisition and divestiture. Over the past twenty years, he has built considerable expertise, particularly with reverse takeovers and private investments. He heads up our capital markets and securities law group and is a special advisor to the CEO.

Pierre-Hubert has been involved in over sixty public offerings, stock exchange listings and reverse takeovers. He represents public issuers, multinationals, venture capital firms, funds, and private investors as part of his practice.

Pierre-Hubert has been a guest speaker at the TSX Venture Exchange, among other engagements. He sits on the boards of various public companies and has served as corporate secretary for dozens of corporations, both Canadian and U.S.-based.

Pierre-Hubert is recognized for having completed the largest number of commercial transactions and financings in the security services industry in Canada, both in terms of number and value. Among his many accomplishments, one of the most notable is successfully guiding a small start-up company from its inception in 1995 through its global expansion and transformation into a multinational enterprise. Today, GardaWorld is a security services giant with more than 122,000 professionals working in over 45 countries.
