Serge M. Racine is a partner in the business law group at Langlois Lawyers. He is a member of the Ordre des administrateurs agréés du Québec and is jointly in charge of our tax division.

Serge’s practice focuses primarily on senior executives of small, medium and large companies. He puts at their service his vast tax experience in the context of planning, reorganization (mergers and acquisitions) and representation, particularly in the mining sector.

His tax practice leads him to advise (various legal opinions) and represent his clients before administrative bodies (assessment and opposition) and the courts. In terms of planning, he advises and establishes trusts (inter vivos and estate) and businesses (corporations, partnerships, LLCs, LLPs, SAs and SARLs), among others.

Over the past 25 years, Serge has also gained considerable experience coordinating all aspects of Canadian and international commercial transactions, including asset and share acquisitions.

He began his career with Canada’s Justice Department, Tax Branch. He then worked for one of Canada’s largest accounting firms before starting his own business within boutique law firms.
