Catherine Bourget is a partner in the Quebec City office of Langlois Lawyers. She practices primarily in the litigation group in matters involving insurance law and civil and professional liability, and represents professionals, insurers, companies and various stakeholders in the construction industry before all levels of the courts in Quebec.

Over the years Catherine has also acquired experience in corporate governance, particularly in the insurance field. Her practice also involves access-to-information matters.

Catherine is actively involved in the legal community and has published articles dealing with insurance law and civil and professional liability.

Was part of the team which successfully represented an insurer in an arbitration seeking to recover sums owed by a reinsurer.

Successfully defended an insurer and its insured against a personal-injury lawsuit seeking more than $2 million in damages for carbon monoxide poisoning.
