A unanimous Supreme Court ruling affirms Langlois’ position
Opsis Airport Services Inc. v. Quebec (Attorney General): the SCC rules in favour of federal interjurisdictional immunity
Geneviève Claveau focuses her practice on civil and commercial litigation and public law at both the trial and appellate levels. She handles complex cases involving constitutional, administrative, regulatory and commercial law, as well as contract disputes. She also acts in securities and telecommunications class actions.
In addition, she defends corporations and individuals in the context of penal, regulatory and disciplinary investigations.
Following her law studies, Geneviève served for two years as law clerk to the Honourable Nicole Duval Hesler, then Chief Justice of Québec.
She practises law in French and English.
