Jean-François Gagnon is the Chief Executive Officer of Langlois Lawyers. He has been a key player in the firm’s transformation over the last two decades and is also a member of its Executive Committee and Board of Directors.

A large part of his practice lies in developing insurance structures, reinsurance and distribution agreements, and insurance products. He regularly advises clients on the risks of certain insurance products and drafts policy wordings accordingly. He is renowned for his risk management expertise.

Clients often call on him for advice regarding governance, strategy, crisis management and business ethics matters. He has wide-ranging experience in complex cases involving directors’ and officers’ liability, management of not-for-profit organizations, professional liability, contractual liability and construction law.

He regularly speaks on behalf of various groups and associations, and is known for the creative and innovative solutions he offers clients.
