Insurance law – Directors’ and officers’ liability

• Successfully represented an insurance company and its insureds (the Syndicate and its directors) before the Superior Court of Québec and the Québec Court of Appeal in an action for damages alleging directors’ and officers’ liability.

Wrongful conviction – Crown liability – Civil action

• Acted for a victim of a miscarriage of justice in his civil lawsuit against the Federal and Provincial governments.

Civil liability – Vicarious liability

• Represented various entities in civil cases involving allegations of sexual assault committed by employees and/or officers.

Insurance law – Product liability

• Successfully defended a manufacturer and its insurer following the sale and collapse of a greenhouse with a galvanized steel structure.
