Mathilde Rochefort
PartnerMathilde Rochefort focuses her practice on litigation, especially civil and professional liability, pharmaceutical liability, construction and insurance, including insurance of persons. She is also involved in class actions and commercial litigation cases.
Mathilde enjoys appearing in court and has led numerous court actions since starting her practice. This experience has given her a solid grasp of the rules of evidence and civil procedure. She is a versatile lawyer with a knack for addressing the changing needs of clients and colleagues alike.
Mathilde also loves to learn: in addition to her Bachelor of Law, she holds an integrated Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs and International Relations from Université Laval as well as an Advanced Graduate Diploma in International Law. In addition, she completed the Graduate Business Law Microprogram at Université de Montréal.
Mathilde was recently recognized by her peers as “One to Watch in Canada” in Insurance Law (Best Lawyers) for two consecutive years (2023-2024).
She is an exceptional ambassador both internally and externally, and plays an active role in the firm’s development and growth, particularly in terms of mentoring and recruitment. As a sports enthusiast, she never hesitates to take part in charity competitions.
