Alexis Pineault focuses his practice on civil and commercial litigation, insolvency and banking law. He acts for a diverse clientele made up of financial institutions and companies of all sizes in contractual remedies, hypothecary remedies, shareholder disputes, extraordinary remedies and insolvency proceedings.
When it comes to settling client disputes, Alexis draws on his keen ability to analyze and summarize information to draft pleadings and legal opinions. He always keeps clients’ objectives in mind and systematically adopts a strategic, results-oriented approach. He listens, understands and is committed to his clients.
During his university studies, he interned as a law clerk with the Honourable Jocelyn F. Rancourt at the Québec Court of Appeal, which gave him the skills and know-how to support his clients in complex litigation. Alexis stood out for his moot court performance and his excellent academic results, which earned him a place on the Honour Roll of Université Laval’s faculty of law.
