Langlois welcomes litigator Justin Reiter, insolvency and restructuring

August 3rd, 2026

Driven by our ongoing commitment to attracting top talent to support our growth and strengthen our strategic areas of expertise, we are proud to announce that Justin Reiter has joined our Litigation group.

A litigator, Justin focuses his practice on insolvency, corporate restructuring and commercial litigation. He primarily represents financial institutions, lenders, licensed insolvency trustees, businesses and other stakeholders in complex matters requiring swift and strategic action. His experience spans extraordinary remedies, receiverships, proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act, and a broad range of commercial disputes.

Justin regularly appears before the trial and appellate courts of Québec. Throughout his career, he has acted in a number of complex, high-profile corporate restructuring matters across Canada. He also advises financial institutions on financing, fraud, enforcement of security, hypothecary recourses and receiverships. Known for his composure, rigour and pragmatic approach, he develops strategies that account for legal considerations, his clients’ objectives and their business realities. He represents clients in Québec, across Canada and internationally, bringing a broad perspective to matters with a cross-border dimension.

Justin’s arrival, following those of partner Rémi Leprévost and lawyers Catherine Boilard and Tristan Tremblay, reflects our commitment to strengthening our insolvency, restructuring and bankruptcy capabilities and to supporting our clients through complex financial and operational challenges.

Welcome to Langlois, Justin!
