Eliab Taïrou is a partner in labour and employment law at Langlois Lawyers in Montréal.
As part of his practice, he represents employers in the private and public sectors, under provincial and federal jurisdictions and in unionized and non-unionized workplaces.
In addition to advising employers on all aspects of labour and employment law, Eliab acts as the employer’s spokesperson in collective bargaining and as a representative in hearings before the Administrative Labour Tribunal, arbitrators and civil courts. He also has experience in certification and decertification, human rights and freedoms, psychological harassment, workplace injuries, occupational health and safety and pay equity.
Eliab closely follows legal developments in areas such as remote work, privacy in the workplace, and the status of employee or independent contractor.
