April 14th, 2025

Langlois is proud to announce that partner Elisabeth Neelin has been named a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA), recognizing her outstanding achievements in litigation. The LCA is an invitation-only honorary society composed of the most distinguished litigators in the United States and Canada. Fellowship is highly selective; Fellows are chosen based on excellence and accomplishment in litigation—at both the trial and appellate levels—as well as a superior ethical reputation.

“I am honoured to be named a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and to join this group of skilled and dedicated litigators. Above all, this recognition reflects the trust our clients place in our firm and the excellence of the remarkable professionals with whom I am privileged to work alongside. I look forward to upholding the standards of excellence and integrity that this fellowship represents,” shared Elisabeth.

Elisabeth’s practice is focused on civil and commercial litigation, with particular expertise in class action defence. She regularly handles complex disputes involving all areas of commercial law, including contractual and business litigation. Known for her strategic mindset and sound judgment, Elisabeth leads high-stakes cases before the courts and in alternative dispute resolution settings. She is also recognized for her ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams—often across jurisdictions—to deliver practical, results-oriented solutions for her clients.

Congratulations, Elisabeth!

About the LCA
The Litigation Counsel of America is a trial lawyer honorary society composed of less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only. Fellows are selected based upon excellence and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels, and superior ethical reputation. The LCA is aggressively diverse in its composition. Established as a trial and appellate lawyer honorary society reflecting the American bar in the twenty-first century, the LCA represents the best in law among its membership. The number of Fellowships has been kept at an exclusive limit by design, allowing qualifications, diversity and inclusion to align effectively, with recognition of excellence in litigation across all segments of the bar. Fellows are generally at the partner or shareholder level, or are independent practitioners with recognized experience and accomplishment. In addition, the LCA is dedicated to promoting superior advocacy, professionalism and ethical standards among its Fellows.
