The France-Québec practice group at Langlois Lawyers is proud to be associated with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal, as a sponsor of an extended series of performances in Paris, which kicks off with the opening gala on March 9, 2017, at the Théâtre National de Chaillot. These performances will showcase Death and the Maiden [La Jeune Fille et la Mort], a contemporary ballet by choreographer Stéphan Thoss.
The opening gala will take place under the auspices of the Canadian Ambassador to France and the Déléguée générale du Québec in Paris, as part of the celebrations surrounding Canada’s 150th birthday, the 375th anniversary of the founding of Montréal and the 60th anniversary of the creation of Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal. A large number of French companies doing business in Quebec as well as numerous Quebec companies operating in France are involved with this prestigious event.
