Driven by our commitment to surround ourselves with the very best talent to drive our growth, we are proud to announce that Simon Lemay has joined Langlois’ Corporate and Commercial Law and Intellectual Property (IP) groups.

With nearly 30 years of experience in trademarks and IP, Simon is a trusted partner for businesses seeking to protect, strengthen and showcase their brand identity. A lawyer and trademark agent, he brings deep expertise in portfolio management strategies, from assessment through to the registration of trademarks and industrial designs.

Drawing on his background in food science and his experience as an executive in legal departments in the agri-food sector, Simon also has in-depth knowledge of the regulations governing this industry, particularly with food quality management and safety.

With experience in both private practice and corporate leadership, Simon is recognized as a seasoned advisor valued for his rigour, approachability and talent for making complex issues clear. A sought-after speaker, he regularly presents on intellectual property topics. As a licensed pilot and flight instructor, he also shares his passion by teaching air law to aspiring pilots at a leading flight school in Québec City.

Deeply committed to his community, Simon founded Le Dragon Boréal in Québec City, a non-profit organization that helps young people from underprivileged backgrounds build self-confidence through the practice of Kempo karate, where he serves as both president and instructor.

Welcome to Langlois, Simon!
