It is Time for Assessment Reviews

Springtime coincides with the delay to appeal the assessed value for the properties located in a municipality that filed a new assessment roll in 2014. This roll will be in effect for three years: 2014, 2015 and 2016. If the assessment is not appropriate, you may file a Request for review. To do so, you must complete the form available to that purpose, provide the reasons of contestation and pay the required filing fees. Make sure that you have mentioned all relevant reasons of contestation, since you will not have the opportunity to add other ones later on.

The ultimate delay to file a Request for review is April 30th 2014, otherwise the assessment will remain till 2017.

Please find hereafter a non exhaustive list of municipalities that filed a new assessment roll this year.
