Marianne Plamondon Joins Langlois

Montréal, November 17, 2017 – Langlois Lawyers is pleased to announce that Marianne Plamondon, MBA, CHRP, has joined the firm’s Montréal office as a partner in the labour and employment law group.

An impressive career path

Marianne is well-versed in all aspects of labour and employment law, and particularly in the interpretation and application of collective agreements, occupational health and safety, psychological harassment, the protection of personal information, pay equity, employment insurance and human rights. She has been active in several files involving individual and collective employment and labour relations, and unjust dismissal disputes.

In addition, she has extensive experience before the civil courts, particularly in matters involving restrictive covenants in employment contracts and the obligation of loyalty of employees.

Marianne also acts in employment-related litigation before both the courts and various administrative tribunals. She frequently represents clients before grievance arbitration panels and the Administrative Labour Tribunal.

Moreover, she is the current chair of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés. She is frequently interviewed by the media on news items involving labour and employment law issues. Before joining Langlois Lawyers, she was a partner at a national law firm.
