Sarto Veilleux is a partner in the Quebec City office of Langlois lawyers. His practice is focussed on labour and employment law. He primarily represents employers in the private and public sectors in both unionized and non-unionized settings.

Sarto negotiates and drafts collective agreements, individual employment agreements and a variety of administrative policies. He also acts on behalf of employers in grievance arbitrations and labour disputes and conflicts. He appears as well before civil courts and administrative tribunals in connection with suits, claims and complaints involving labour laws and charter rights. Finally, he provides employers with advice and legal opinions on the interpretation and application of labour laws and collective agreements.

Sarto has developed notable expertise in labour relations in the municipal sphere, an area in which he acted decisively in a grievance arbitration under the Labour Code, and successfully argued a case before the Supreme Court of Canada.
