Sébastien Laprise and Jean-Benoît Pouliot Publish a Book on Contracting by Public Bodies

On the eve of the creation of the Autorité des marchés publics, Sébastien Laprise, partner, and Jean-Benoît Pouliot, associate, both of whom are the go-to authorities on public contracting law at Langlois Lawyers, have collaborated in the drafting of a new book entitled Contrats des organismes publics – Manuel sur les meilleures stratégies, a manual on the best strategies to be used by public bodies when awarding contracts.

This new book is a decision-making guide that recommends best practices for public bodies subject to the Act respecting contracting by public bodies. It is designed to help public bodies rethink their contracting strategies and implement practices that will yield successful results for the organization, and consequently for users. The book should prove to be an indispensable tool for public bodies and will help them get ready for an eventual “visit” by the Autorité des marchés publics
