Represented a general contractor while work was ongoing, in substituting the security held by one of its subcontractors, in the form of a legal construction hypothec. Litigation regarding the quality of the work was a possibility, but after a period of negotiation and analysis, the parties reached a settlement. The contractor thereby avoided publication of a legal construction hypothec, and was able to continue the work and ensure the quality thereof.
