We are pleased to announce that Marc-Alexandre Hudon has joined the firm as a partner. Marc-Alexandre has been practising civil and commercial litigation as well as business law for close to two decades.
His passion for the law is evident in the variety of his areas of expertise, which include privacy, cybersecurity, public contracts, corporate integrity, administrative law, and Aboriginal law.
“His extensive knowledge of provincial and federal privacy laws, particularly as they relate to healthcare privacy issues, complements our firm’s growing practice. His experience with data breaches, theft of personal information and documents, and ransomware has also been frequently called upon by clients who have appealed to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec. While our clients will undoubtedly benefit from his experience, his new colleagues are also eager to collaborate with him. On behalf of Langlois, I welcome him to the firm and wish him much success,” shared Jean-François Gagnon, CEO of Langlois Lawyers.
“I’m delighted to be joining Langlois Lawyers, a firm renowned for its drive, professionalism, collegiality and team spirit. I look forward to sharing with my colleagues and our clients the expertise I’ve gained during my career at a national firm in such cutting-edge areas as privacy, corporate integrity and public contracts. I also hope to contribute to Langlois’ continued growth by leveraging my knowledge of industries such as natural resources, infrastructure, technology and healthcare,” said Marc-Alexandre.
A multidisciplinary lawyer, Marc-Alexandre is a member of both the Litigation and Business Law groups of Langlois. He acts for a wide range of clients in the natural resources and energy, infrastructure, healthcare and technology sectors. A seasoned litigator before both Québec courts and the Federal Court, he advises clients on investigations, transactions and other related matters.
