On April 8th, lawyers and partners Jean-Simon Deschênes (also head of the corporate law group), Jessica Syms (mediator) and Vincent Tremblay offered their expertise during a legal webinar, which looked into commercial contracts – namely commercial leases – organized by the Conseil du patronat du Québec (CPQ, Quebec Employers’ Council).
The webinar was presided by lawyer Karolyne Gagnon, vice-president, Labour and legal affairs and general secretary of the CPQ and sought to inform its members about aid measures to help employers get through the COVID-19 crisis.
