Langlois celebrates the appointment of a new partner

Langlois Lawyers is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Eliab Taïrou to the firm’s Partnership.

Eliab joined Langlois’ Labour and Employment Law group in 2021, where he has since represented numerous employers in the private and public sectors, under both provincial and federal jurisdictions, in unionized and non-unionized workplaces. He also acts as an employer’s spokesperson in the negotiation of collective agreements.  As of October 2022, he sits on the Board of Directors of the Regroupement des jeunes chambres de commerce du Québec (RJCCQ, a network of Québec’s junior chambers of commerce).

“Eliab has a proven track record in labour and employment law and is a true embodiment of our corporate values and commitment to our clients, both of which are at the core of our practice. Being named partner is a pivotal moment in a lawyer’s career; Eliab is ready and deserving of this recognition. We are proud to be welcoming him as a partner. On behalf of all our colleagues, congratulations, Eliab,” said Jean-François Gagnon, Chief Executive Officer of Langlois Lawyers.

“This is an especially meaningful milestone for me as it is a sign of trust and recognition from my fellow partners, colleagues whom I have looked up to in admiration since before joining Langlois.  I look forward to contributing more meaningfully to the continued growth and success of our firm, and commit to upholding its exemplary corporate culture,” shared Eliab.
