We are pleased to welcome new partner and accredited mediator, Christiane Brizard, to the Langlois lawyers Montréal office. Christiane practices mainly in the area of governance, ethics and professional law.

For several years, she was secretary, vice-president of legal affairs and strategic advisor for the Ordre des comptables agréés and the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés. In this capacity, she advised senior management on ethical, systemic, legal and governance issues.
Admitted to the Quebec Bar in 1981, Christine has in-depth knowledge of Quebec’s professional system and the framework regulating financial market stakeholders, as well as having taken part in several parliamentary committees. She has been a key player in the effort to unify accounting professions.
