Catherine Biron and Catherine Cayer to take part in a webinar on the Workplace Harassment and Violence Prevention Regulations

On October 16, Langlois partner and lawyer Catherine Biron and lawyer Catherine Cayer, who are part of the labour and employment law group, will take part in a webinar as trainers following an invitation from the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines intégrées (CRHA) / the Order of Certified Human Resources Professionals (CHRP).

In the wake of recent amendments to the Canada Labour Code to address harassment and violence in the workplace, the draft Workplace Harassment and Violence Prevention Regulations (the “Regulations”) have been of particular interest to federally regulated employers due to the magnitude of the changes being introduced. The Regulations come into effect on January 1, 2021 and as a federally regulated employer, you will need to prepare, as they represent a significant change to federal labour law rules.

This webinar is of interest to human resources and industrial relations managers working for a company under federal jurisdiction. It is still possible to register with the Order of CRHA by clicking here.
