Jean-Benoît Pouliot honoured at awards ceremony organized by the Quebec City Young Bar Association

Langlois Lawyers is proud to announce that Jean-Benoît Pouliot, a lawyer in its Quebec City office, was honoured on March 2 at a gala awards ceremony entitled Gala des Maîtres organized by the Quebec City Young Bar association.

Jean-Benoît’s practice is focussed on administrative and public law, particularly in the areas of public procurement and the environment. Over the course of the past year, he co-authored a manual on best contacting strategies for public bodies entitled Contrats des organismes publics: Manuel sur les meilleures stratégies published by Wolters Kluwer, and appeared on behalf of the Quebec Bar Association before the Supreme Court of Canada in the matter of Lizotte v. Aviva Insurance Company of Canada, 2016 SCC 52.

The purpose of the Gala des Maîtres awards ceremony is to recognize members of the Quebec City Young Bar who have distinguished themselves through their involvement in the legal community and their own places of work, their legal acumen, volunteer work, peer recognition and professional ethics.
