Passing of Raynold Langlois

A tribute to the late Raynold Langlois, founding partner of LKD

It is with great sadness that Langlois Kronström Desjardins (LKD) announces the death of our founding partner, Raynold Langlois, October 29th, in Nuns’ Island, at the age of 73. All of the members of the firm join in paying tribute to his memory.

Today we have lost a master builder who was a major figure on the legal landscape of Quebec and Canada for a half-century. He was instrumental in the strides made in the law through many of the cases he argued, his integrity, his professionalism and his generous sharing of his time earned him the respect of his colleagues to the very end of his life.

Mr. Langlois will be sadly missed by his wife, Mrs. Céline Garneau, his children, his many friends, by more than 200 colleagues for whom he was and will continue to be an example, and by many loyal clients who admired him for his tenacity and his wise counsel.

The members of the firm express their deepest condolences to the family of Mr. Langlois and share their sorrow at the loss of an exceptional man who will be missed by all.
