Laurence Bourgeois-Hatto specializes in occupational health and safety, whether in prevention, compensation for work-related injuries or the funding of the occupational health and safety regime. She has experience in penal infractions prosecuted by the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST) .
Laurence also advises employers in matters related to labour and employment law: employment agreements, labour standards, labour relations, collective agreement decrees and human rights. She has developed a particular expertise in labour relations in the construction industry.
Laurence regularly appears before the common law courts in civil and penal matters, as well as before specialized courts such as the Administrative Labour Tribunal (ALT).
She practises law in English and French.
