Jean-François Landry
PartnerJean-François Landry handles all aspects of civil and commercial litigation. He focuses his practice on all areas of professional liability, directors’ and officers’ liability, insurance coverage disputes, and administrative law.
He is also called upon to intervene in files involving injunctions, seizures and other extraordinary remedies.
Jean-François’s representative work includes:
Professional liability
- Successfully represented an engineering firm in a claim for $15.4 million in damages following an explosion.
- Represented various professionals, including lawyers, architects, land surveyors, real estate brokers, evaluators, notaries and engineers, in a variety of professional liability lawsuits.
Insurance law
- Represented various insurers in coverage disputes involving the interpretation of insurance policies, particularly those used in the construction industry.
Administrative law – Professional orders – Extraordinary remedies
- Successfully represented professional orders, particularly in injunctive proceedings brought against their disciplinary bodies.
