Excellence in Mentoring Award 2020 for Québec from The Advocates’ Society

Valérie Lemaire, lawyer and partner with Langlois Lawyers since 2002, will receive the Excellence in Mentoring Award 2020 for Québec from The Advocates’ Society. The distinction honours advocates who have shown outstanding commitment to and excellence in mentoring other advocates in Québec.
Valerie is an exceptional counsel, whose mentoring strengths draw upon the utmost professionalism, generosity and exemplarity. Of strict intellectual standards, she brings nuance, in-depth knowledge of the law and advocacy, a keen business acumen and is a highly skilled litigant and negotiator. These qualities have provided inspiration and continue to inspire a great number of lawyers at Langlois.

- Dedication to mentoring other advocates;
- Generosity of time and expertise, with a commitment to assisting more junior advocates;
- Promotion of diversity and inclusiveness among the profession with regards to mentoring;
- Professionalism in all aspects of their participation in the work of the Society, including mentoring and education programs.
