Supporting family business succession, Langlois assists Les Pères Nature, ushering in the next generation of business leaders

Langlois Lawyers is proud to have taken part in the succession of family-owned-and-operated Les Pères Nature in the Beauce region. The firm assisted its client, Ms. Maréva Bédard, a young entrepreneur and daughter of the founder, in the successful transfer.

A Business Law team, led by partner Vincent Plante and including Joanie Baker and paralegal Lauréanne Allen, addressed all of the unique needs of this family business succession transaction. The team oversaw every step of the process, starting from initial corporate reorganization, handling multiple contract negotiations, structuring financing and closing the transaction.

Established in 1977 in Sainte-Marie de Beauce by Clément Bédard, Les Pères Nature is a beloved local institution. With a second location opened in 1987 in Saint-Georges, Les Pères Nature is a full-service grocery store, restaurant and caterer that advocates buying locally and champions healthy eating.
