Stefan Chripounoff Publishes an Article on Domestic Arbitration Law in The Lawyers Weekly

Stefan Chripounoff, partner in the litigation group at Langlois Lawyers, recently published an article entitled “Domestic arbitration law gets harmonizing upgrade” in which he provides an overview of the revised Uniform Arbitration Act, a model law adopted by the Uniform Law Conference of Canada (ULCC) in December 2016. 

“[T]he ULCC has successfully introduced a number of purposive changes to the [Uniform Arbitration] Act. It will be of great interest to see how Canadian provinces and territories realign their statutory arbitral frameworks to meet the prevailing expectations of litigants,” observes Stefan in the article.
