Stefan Chripounoff Prominently Featured in an Article on Natural Gas in Magazine Les Affaires
The Energy Law expertise of Stefan Chripounoff, a partner in the litigation group, was recently called upon in connection with an article on the globalization of natural gas markets. He explained that the multiplication of liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports will have a standardizing effect on commodity pricing.
For example, there is now strong competition between Canada and the U.S.A. to penetrate markets more lucrative than those in North America. He is of the view that the increased volume in international exchanges will make for more uniform world-wide prices, such that the price premium enjoyed by U.S. exporters will not last forever.
