Marie-Douce Huard, a civil and commercial lawyer specializing in construction and insurance, chooses Langlois Lawyers

We are pleased to announce that Marie-Douce Huard has joined the firm as a partner. Marie-Douce specializes in construction and insurance law, more specifically in files related to contracts, bids and calls for tenders.

Over the years, she has successfully pleaded before various civil courts and administrative bodies and collaborated on major cases, including construction arbitrations in the context of proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act. She has also represented clients in the process of alternative dispute resolution. Based on her extensive experience, she is regularly invited to speak at events related to construction law.

Marie-Douce Huard is distinguished by her involvement in the legal community. She has been a member of several boards of directors, including the Association des constructeurs de routes et grands travaux du Québec, of which she is still a member.
