Ambassador, 50th Anniversary of the HEC Montréal MBA, 2019

Marianne Plamondon Named Ambassador for HEC Montréal MBA’s 50th Anniversary

Montréal, October 1st, 2019 – Langlois Lawyers is pleased to announce that Marianne Plamondon, partner of our Labour and Employment Law Group, has been named ambassador, highlighting the 50th anniversary of the HEC Montréal MBA program.

“Knowing how relevant this academic achievement is, I was keen to accept HEC Montréal’s invitation to be an ambassador as this year marks the 50th anniversary of their MBA program. As a lawyer, I advise and guide businesses working to resolve complex labour and employment legal issues. My MBA allowed me to gain a greater understanding of corporate management and allowed me to develop an effective business centric approach. Over the last 50 years, 8,600 students have earned an HEC MBA, which means just as many working professionals out there, who are well equipped to deal with the challenges of the labour market. Thanks to the HEC MBA program, this number is growing each year. Congratulations!” enthuses Marianne Plamondon.

As the highest level of education in business management, the Master of Business Administration (MBA) is an internationally recognized qualification and is taught in more than 120 countries. HEC Montréal MBA turns 50 this year. To highlight this remarkable journey, alumni, members of the HEC Montréal community at large and businesses are invited to take part in celebrations being held between September and December and to discover the MBA through its ambassadors.
