Langlois supports GardaWorld in securing $2.5 Billion in multi-year contracts with CATSA

The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (“CATSA”) has selected a subsidiary of Garda World Security Corporation (“GardaWorld”), a global leader in security services, integrated risk management and cash management, to provide pre-boarding screening services at airports in two of Canada’s largest metropolitan regions, Central and Eastern Canada. Combined, they encompass 45 airports, including Canada’s two largest international airports: Toronto’s Lester B. Pearson International Airport and the Montréal-Trudeau International Airport.

Langlois Lawyers has advised GardaWorld for more than two decades. We are proud to have worked closely with the management team of GardaWorld’s Canadian subsidiary, GardaWorld Security Screening, on the successful conclusion of these strategic agreements with the CATSA. Under the terms of these agreements, which could generate revenues in excess of $2.5 billion, Garda Airport Security will provide its services for an initial period of 5 years.
