Langlois Lawyers leads major transaction in Québec’s pharmaceutical sector

Langlois is proud to have acted on behalf of French multinational pharmaceutical company Cerba Healthcare International (Cerba) in its acquisition of Canadian company CIRION BioPharma Research Inc.

Our M&A team led Cerba through all aspects of the acquisition, including the competitive bidding process, the selection of Cerba as the exclusive buyer, and the closing of the transaction on September 1.

The team involved in the acquisition included Bill Hart, Sylvain Aird, Félix Bernard, Olivier Scheffer, Delphine Grou, Catherine Vaillancourt, Sophie Sigouin Corbeil and Fanny van Bochove. The team also drew on the expertise of Anne-Carole Turgeon for certain tax aspects of the transaction, as well as those of Pierre-Marc Gendron and Antoine Hamel Rancourt for certain aspects related to the protection of personal data. Tamara Venegas and Stephania Ercoli also provided invaluable assistance throughout the closing.
