Langlois Lawyers advises multinational GardaWorld in C$300 million private placement

Langlois advised Garda World Security Corporation (“GardaWorld”), a global leader in security services, integrated risk management and cash solutions, in the conclusion of an agreement with the Government of Québec through Investissement Québec. The strategic investment of C$300 million, at market conditions, is subscribed by way of a private placement in GardaWorld preferred shares. The preferred shares are redeemable by the company and entitle the holder to a dividend capitalized annually and payable at the time of their redemption by GardaWorld.
