Katherine Loranger Joins the Litigation and Insurance Law Team at Langlois

Montréal, June 14, 2017 – Langlois Lawyers is pleased to announce that Katherine Loranger has joined its litigation and insurance law team in the firm’s Montréal office. 

Katherine has wide-ranging experience in civil and commercial litigation, particularly in the areas of insurance law, commercial real estate, franchising, professional liability and product liability. 

She also has significant experience in matters involving fraud, representing various corporate clients before all levels of the courts and advising them on the detection, investigation, prevention and recovery of the proceeds of fraud. Her services are also called upon in files involving extraordinary remedies such as injunctions and seizures before judgment. 

An exceptionally solid professional background 

Katherine developed her expertise in civil and commercial litigation at a national law firm, and her insurance law expertise in the legal department of a major Canadian insurance company. Her pragmatic and rigorous approach to dispute resolution makes her an ideal fit for Langlois Lawyers’ litigation group. 

Katherine was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2007 after obtaining a degree in civil law from Université de Montréal. She also holds a Certificate of Qualification in Common Law from the University of British Columbia.
