Joanie Proteau and Geneviève Tremblay Join Our Team

Montréal, May 13th, 2015 – Langlois Kronström Desjardins (LKD) is pleased to announce the arrival of two new lawyers in its Quebec City office, where they will be joining the firm’s insurance law group.

Geneviève Tremblay (admitted in 2005) and Joanie Proteau (admitted in 2008) practice primarily in the areas of civil liability, insurance law, professional liability and construction law. They each have considerable experience before the civil courts. They provide strategic counsel to clients in litigious matters and regarding all aspects of insurance law.

Since joining the profession, Joanie has been involved in both the legal community and within her professional order: in addition to teaching at the Quebec Bar’s professional training academy, the École du Barreau du Québec, she was President of the Quebec City Young Bar Association in 2012-2013.

Geneviève also advises insurers on the application and interpretation of various types of insurance policies.

“We are very pleased to welcome Geneviève and Joanie to the LKD team in our Quebec City office. They will allow us to broaden the range of services we provide and strengthen our ability to offer clients the services of experienced litigators”, stated Jean-François Gagnon, the firm’s managing partner.
