Lucas Richard-Gérard

Lucas Richard-Gérard is a tax lawyer in our Business Law group. He focuses his practice on tax advice and tax planning, notably in the context of corporate reorganizations, purchases and sales. His expertise covers many sectors, such as investments and trade, including on a cross-border basis, and also extends to taxation, regulation and financing of non-profit organisations.

Lucas favours a pragmatic approach, seeking to achieve both fiscal and business efficiency for his clients. He believes a successful tax strategy must consider real and perceived implications and address critical issues before they can become a problem.

Lucas holds a Master’s degree in tax law and teaches the principles of taxation at his alma mater, Université de Montréal. He also happily shares his knowledge by speaking at conferences and authoring articles for renowned organizations and publications, including the Université de Montréal and the Association de planification fiscale et financière, where he sits on the training committee for the next generation.
