Mathilde Naïma Penasa is a paralegal in the Labour and Employment Law group. She takes part in mandates focused primarily on labour and employment law, occupational health and safety, and administrative and regulatory litigation. In particular, she works on files involving workplace injuries and claims before the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST) and the Administrative Labour Tribunal (ALT), as well as on labour relations, grievances, and workplace harassment matters.

Mathilde also has significant experience in business immigration, particularly with respect to the hiring and immigration of foreign workers. This experience gives her a complementary understanding of workforce mobility issues and allows her to work on files where employment and immigration matters intersect.

She is also pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) at Université Laval, enriching her practical experience with an ever-expanding base of legal training. Her dual path as both a paralegal and a law student allows her to combine hands-on file experience with the ongoing deepening of her legal knowledge.
