Marie-Douce Huard practises civil and commercial law, including matters related to contracts, tenders and calls for tenders, as well as construction and insurance law.

Over the years, she has successfully pleaded before various civil courts and administrative bodies and collaborated on major cases, including construction arbitrations in the context of proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act. She has also represented clients in the process of alternative dispute resolution. Based on her extensive experience, she is regularly invited to speak at events related to construction law.

She responds to the needs and concerns of her clients through her analytical skills, attention to detail, dedication and efficiency in finding personalized legal solutions. Thanks to her management abilities, she is able to bring out the best in each member of her team.

Marie-Douce prides herself on her involvement in the legal community. She has served on several boards of directors, including the Quebec Road Builders and Heavy Construction Association board. A pioneer in a predominantly male industry, she supports initiatives that foster leadership and develop women’s full potential.
