Philippe Blais practises corporate, commercial and transactional law at the Montréal office of Langlois Lawyers.
He works mainly in mergers and acquisitions for major Canadian and international corporations and his expertise also covers complex files relating to business start-ups, venture capital and private equity financing, as well as the drafting and negotiation of a variety of contracts.
Philippe is particularly interested in assisting start-up companies in their growth by helping entrepreneurs establish their legal structure and navigate new business relationships.
His academic background includes a Master’s degree in Taxation and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Sherbrooke.
Before joining Langlois Lawyers, Philippe practised business law, particularly mergers and acquisitions, at a regional firm in Montréal.
