Stéphanie Létourneau focuses her practice on issues pertaining to business and corporate law. She acts at all stages of corporate transactions, from due diligence to closing, including drafting and reviewing agreements related to the transaction and preparing the documents required for the incorporation and organization of corporations. She drafts amendments to the articles of incorporation, as well as continuances, dissolutions and documents for the extra-provincial registration of corporations. She also reviews businesses’ status, updates minute books and corporate records, and helps prepare closing documents, contracts and resolutions pertaining to the purchase and sale of assets, as well as tax reorganizations and business restructurings.

In addition, Stéphanie assists the financing lawyers. She performs searches in various computerized registers, including the enterprise register, the Register of Personal and Movable Real Rights, the bankruptcy and insolvency register, court dockets and Federal Court decisions and registers, for the purpose of analyzing the results and preparing search reports.

Stéphanie has some fifteen years of experience as a secretary, collaborator and paralegal at various notaries’ offices. This experience allowed her to gain key business and corporate law knowledge and skills. Stéphanie is reliable, organized, autonomous and efficient.
