Emma Leclerc
LawyerEmma Leclerc focuses her practice on civil and commercial litigation, civil and professional liability, and insurance. She also handles access-to-information, protection of personal information and class action defence matters.
Her clientele consists mainly of businesses of all sizes, public bodies, educational institutions, professional orders and individuals. Emma assists her clients throughout their disputes before courts of law, quasi-judicial bodies and administrative tribunals in Québec. In conjunction with her representations before the courts, she is recognized for the quality of her drafting and her legal research skills.
Emma also assists clients in preventing non-contentious matters from becoming litigious. For example, she advises on access to information requests, helps implement measures to protect personal information, and drafts contracts and insurance policies.
Before joining the firm in 2021, she worked as a law student at a firm offering civil, labour, and family law services. During her university studies, Emma volunteered with organizations promoting human rights and access to justice, such as Amnesty International Canada (Francophone) and Pro Bono Students Canada.
Emma practises law in French and English.
