Mario began his practice as a lawyer in the Civil and Commercial Litigation group of a large Montréal firm. He then worked as a legal advisor for a major Canadian bank until 2008. He subsequently founded Langlois avocats s.a., now known as Mario Langlois Lawyer Corp.
He serves on numerous boards and is actively involved in the community. He is notably co-founder and vice-president of the Club Tesla Québec and co-founder and president of the Coalition zéro émission Québec.
