Rémi-Pier Fournier
LawyerRémi-Pier Fournier focuses his practice on insurance law. He analyzes and drafts various pleadings, advises clients on the litigation strategy to be adopted and represents them before civil courts.
He acquired hands-on experience and honed a granular understanding of the judicial system during an internship with the Honourable David E. Platts at the Superior Court of Québec. He now leverages this experience in offering advice to clients dealing with a wide variety of litigation matters. Rémi-Pier endeavours to home in on the legal issues of each case he handles and present a coherent, effective strategy to his clients.
Before starting his legal career, Rémi-Pier completed a Bachelor’s degree in philosophy. In particular, this program helped him develop his critical thinking skills and acquire a strong ability to articulate arguments. This explains why he excels today in drafting complex legal pleadings and arguments.
Rémi-Pier’s outstanding academic performance earned him a spot on the Université de Montréal Faculty of Law Dean’s list. During his studies, he also volunteered for the Accessing Law and Justice (ADAJ) project with Pro Bono Students Canada.
