Ione Deda Alves focuses her practice on labour and employment law. She advises unionized and non-unionized private and public sector employers of all sizes on issues related to hiring, termination, disciplinary or administrative actions, labour standards, human rights and freedoms, restrictive covenants pertaining to employment, government programs, certification, and the interpretation, application and drafting of employment contracts and collective agreements.

Throughout her academic and professional experience in Québec, Ione has been able to build on the experience she acquired in Brazil as a labour and employment lawyer. During her studies, she worked in the litigation department of the Ministry of Justice and at the Québec Superior Court.
