Marie-Claude de Grandpré
PartnerMarie-Claude de Grandpré practises civil and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on insurance, construction and infrastructure law.
As a member of the Construction and Infrastructure group, she acts primarily in the area of dispute prevention and resolution (adjudication, mediation, arbitration, courts of law and standard-setting bodies), including on issues surrounding requests for the adjustment of timetables and financial terms, non-compliance and defects arising during construction and warranty periods.
In the insurance law field, she frequently acts for insurance companies in matters involving civil and professional liability.
Thanks to her work ethic, high standards and soft skills, Marie-Claude instills confidence in her clients and is respected by her peers. Her clients appreciate her ability to listen, and trust in her experience in resolving files effectively, whether through the courts or alternative dispute resolution methods.
Marie-Claude has been involved with the Montréal Association of Insurance Women (MAIW) since 2017. She has also been a member of the Canadian Bar Association’s Governance, Regulatory Compliance and Ethics Committee since 2023.
