Philippe Blais is a lawyer in the Corporate and Commercial Law group. He focuses his practice on transactional, commercial and corporate law. 

He handles all manner of complex mergers and acquisitions for public and private corporations in Canada and abroad. He also supports clients in starting businesses and securing financing. 

In particular, Philippe assists private business buyers and sellers through each stage of the acquisition, sale or reorganization process. 

He also helps non-profit organizations navigate their business and governance relations. 

With both a law degree and a Master’s degree in taxation, he leverages a holistic view of the legal and tax issues his clients face to provide them with informed advice. 

Before joining the firm, Philippe practised business law, particularly in mergers and acquisitions, at a regional firm in Montréal.
