

Xavier Berwald-Grégoire
LawyerXavier Berwald-Grégoire represents employers in all areas of employment law, occupational health and safety, and regulatory penal law.
Xavier frequently intervenes at all levels of corporate employment relations from beginning to the end of the employment relationship, including administrative and disciplinary measures, performance management, occupational health and safety, and all matters relating to terminations and layoffs. Through his extensive work with numerous employers in Québec’s industrial and construction sectors, he has developed a keen understanding of the unique regulatory and criminal challenges they face.
Unionized and non-unionized employers of all sizes operating in various fields and industries regularly call upon Xavier to advise on questions of human capital management. He represents employers in conciliation and mediation matters and before administrative tribunals and civil courts.
Since 2019, Xavier has served on the board of Famijeunes, a non-profit dedicated to improving the situations of families in southwest Montréal by promoting an approach that empowers individuals, families, groups and the community as a whole.
